“ Great cafe and bakery with a wide menu of breakfast and lunch foods including savory and sweet options. Both Scandinavian and traditional American fare and delicious bakery options (donuts, pastries, etc.) They even have take home meals (frozen soup) Cool looking patio too, but had a lot of bees in mid September. Great coffee and friendly staff. ”
“ What a delightful cafe! I was impressed with the large menu of breakfast and lunch items but I came for Christmas cookies and pastries. They have so many beautiful cookies to make an impressive cookie platter for family and guests. I arrived at 6:15 because the reviews said they can get really busy. There were two tables of older men eating breakfast and I was the only person waiting to order. I don’t know why someone gave this fewer stars because of the “unusual” seating. The tables are in two rows all on one side like any other cafe or a subway restaurant or coffee shop. There is plenty of seating for a cafe style restaurant and if the tables are full then wait or take your food to go. It’s not the job of the staff at a cafe to manage the tables and know if there’s seating available for you, especially when they are so busy. What a weird expectation. I don’t expect caribou to monitor their tables for little ol me. Anyhow I can’t wait to pick up my Buche de Noel for Christmas! ”
“ The food was absolutely delicious and all made from scratch! All the pastries were baked on-site and all looked fabulous! But couldn't eat them all!haha Had a very good breakfast meal of eggs, potatoes, delicious thick cut bacon and thick cut multi grain toast and a apple tasting butter! I would highly recommend Taste for great tasting food!RR ”
“ Grabbed some sour dough and a few pastries here a couple of weeks ago. Pastry were good and worth a try. Their sour dough is pretty good. Wished it was a bit more pungent, but it was solid. The service provided is what makes this place stand out though. Great people and great vibes. ”
“ Food options and quality exceeded my expectations. I was surprised by the beautiful outdoor patio space. A great place to connect with friends. ”
“ I rarely give 5 stars but this place has the best bakery! There were at least six different flavors of kolaczki’s (beats out Kramarczyk’s) the breakfast dishes were amazing. Lemon lingonberry pancakes and the lefse wrapped omelette were great. Super friendly staff there and restaurant and restrooms were very clean. ”
“ Excellent food, excellent service and pretty reasonable prices for fresh baked goods. Other reviews are right, seating is pretty limited. I've done takeout and dine in several times each; at least at the times we've been there, we were able to find seating, but it does fill up fast. THE. BEST. BREAKFAST. BURRITOS. Definitely do the Gyro burrito. Also tried: • Tried the Norwegian Almond Krinkger - very noticeable almond extract flavor, but OH. SO. GOOD. • Raspberry Double Chocolate Scone - maybe a little dry and not much for raspberry or chocolate in it. Still good but I'd try something else next time. • Pull Apart Cinnamon Rolls - also a little dry but great proportion of cinnamon and glaze, and with just a few seconds in the nukerwave - dyn-O-mite. • Maple Apple Circle (donut type) - best of the bunch. SO very good. This is a must try. Will definitely be back to dine there to try their coffee with a fresh delicious pastry. 2nd visit, tried two different breakfast burritos. The Mediterranean breakfast burrito was the best I've had in YEARS. ”
“ Stopped in for a cup of coffee, and ordered a little breakfast while I was there. Coffee was fresh and the Monte Cristo Waffle was delicious! Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! ”
